In the end, my dog liked it, and that’s what mattered most. The texture stayed even overall, which I appreciated, and it didn’t get weird or inconsistent like some others we’ve tried.

His health seems like it’s improving, and he actually eats this without me having to beg him. After all the other foods we tried, I’m kind of expecting an apology from the old stuff for making things so difficult.

I tried freshpet for my dog because his coat was looking dull and he’d been dealing with itchy skin. He ate it just fine and never turned his nose up at it, so that part was easy. But after a few weeks, I was a little mentally drained from hoping it would make a bigger difference and not really seeing much improvement. His fur maybe felt a tiny bit softer, but he was still scratching and still had flaky spots. For the price, I expected more. It’s not a bad food, it just didn’t really work for us.

The food always looks really fresh, which is why I keep going back to it. I just wish the packs lasted a little longer because for the price, I feel like it’s fair to expect them to stretch a bit more.

My beagle was starting to get a little chunky... and our vet basically told us it was time to cut back. We switched over to Freshpet, i was surprised he actually seemed happy eating the smaller portions. He’s already down a few pounds now, and he just seems more comfortable on walks... less sluggish, I guess. So far, it’s been a really good change for him...

My dog really loves Freshpet. I mean, he gets so excited when I put it in his bowl, and I do feel like the quality is better than regular kibble. The only thing is the price. It’s a little high for us, so I can’t buy it all the time, but when I do, it feels worth it. I’d give it 5 stars if it was just a bit cheaper

I don’t know why anyone would complain about freshpet not having enough options, because they’ve got a solid variety. My dog gets bored with the same food really fast, so being able to switch between different recipes and rolls has been really helpful. There’s chicken, beef, small dog options, and even softer food that my older dog can eat without any trouble. The website was easy enough to browse too, so it wasn’t some big hassle finding what I needed. Overall, I’m happy with the variety.

It does take up some room in the fridge, but I mostly notice that it stays fresh and feeding is simple. For me, those are the things that matter most, so I’m happy with it.

I was weirdly excited about how easily this opens, then annoyed at myself for not getting one sooner. It fits really nicely in my fridge without taking up awkward space, which made me way happier than I expected. Just a simple thing, but it actually makes grabbing stuff so much easier.

I had a small issue with my order, so I sent Freshpet a message and they got back to me faster than I thought they would. They were nice about it and just helped get everything sorted without turning it into a big hassle. It did take one extra email to clear things up, so it wasn’t totally perfect, but overall I was happy with how they handled it.

I've been giving my older dog freshpet for a few weeks now, and honestlyyy, I've noticed a real difference on our walks. He used to lag behind and kind of shuffle along, but now he actually wants to keep going. I'm not saying it's some magic fix or anything, but he definitely seems more awake, has better energy, and looks happier after meals. Ordering from the site was super easy toooo, which was a nice bonus.

I’d give it 4 stars. Most of the time, the Freshpet food I grab is in stock, which is what matters. There have been a couple trips where the exact flavor my dog likes was gone. Of course, that’s the one she wants. So I just picked a different one and she managed fine. Not a big issue, really. Overall, good

My beagle is about 14 now, and over the last year or so he got really picky and started dropping a little weight. I grabbed Freshpet after seeing it in the store because it looked softer than most of the dry stuff I’d been trying.

He actually eats it without me standing there trying to convince him for 10 minutes, which is a big change. His stomach has been fine too, and he seems maybe 20% more interested in our walks lately.

It’s definitely not the cheapest food, but for an older dog who needs to keep eating, I feel like it’s worth the extra few bucks. I ordered from freshpet.com and it was simple, plus the delivery showed up cold like it should

My dog is usually super picky and will sniff his food, stare at it, then wander off like he’s offended. With Freshpet, he just goes straight for it and eats it right away, so I’m guessing there must be something about the taste or freshness that clicks with him. I can’t prove it, but it feels more like real food than the canned stuff we were using before. The smell is way better too, not that gross dog food smell. So far, I’m happy with it.

I’ll give it credit, the flavor wasn’t bad and I actually made it through two bowls thinking it was decent. Unfortunately, after that my allergies flared up worse than before, so as enjoyable as it tried to be, it definitely didn’t work out for me.
